Glasgow band Nightshift smooth out their sound with their third record, releasing today on Trouble In Mind. "The synths become thicker, the guitars strum and twang, and the vocals get an incandescent glow," says Raven Sings the Blues. "A confident, catchy, yet cushioned vision of the latter days of post-punk's slide towards the late '80s."

Passion of The Weiss writes, "Each track is crafted like a quick hitter, rolling up spiritual transmissions and Japanese imagery in the bass-driven boom bap Elaquent lines the paper with to emit a throat-burning high."

It was released in June.
