GEMS - Tangled Memories

After a much-blogged Bandcamp EP in 2013, the LA-via-DC duo tease their debut LP for Carpark Records (Toro Y Moi, Cloud Nothings) with a 2nd single. TT Kitchen approves: "A shadowy, lushly-textured R&B cut with a graceful melody and muscular rhythm."

Airbird & Napolian - J.Park

The duo of Joel Ford (super collaborator, founder of labels Software and Driftless) and Ian Evans (aka Napolian) announce their debut LP together for Cascine, sharing a lead single that "blends cosmic, echoing melodies with hard-hitting, earthy drums," says FACT.

The Verge explores the numbers game behind Spotify cover songs.

"Search for Taylor Swift, and you’ll get dozens of songs, many of which are indistinguishable, and none of which are the one you actually want."
