Keep Shelly in Athens - Fractals +1 remix

Greek duo Keep Shelly in Athens returns to the top of the HM charts, introducing "the wistful, breathy sighs of new singer Myrtha with a softly-shimmering new Balearic-pop gem," says Gorilla vs. Bear.

George Maple - Talk Talk +6 remixes

Singer George Maple is the latest breakout from Aussie label Future Classic (Flume, Chet Faker, Flight Facilities), with two new (Flume-produced) tracks floating around the Popular page this week ahead of her debut EP in December.

Jessica Pratt - Back, Baby

San Francisco's Jessica Pratt, "the most compelling new voice in folk music" (Rawkblog), announces her Drag City debut. Among the week's most blogged, "Back, Baby" has it all: "the aesthetic, the delivery, the lyrics, the guitar work – intensely, deceptively emotional."
When not playing bass in Delta Sleep, Canterbury-based Maria Sullivan makes heady electronic music as Koloto. A re-release of her Mechanica EP, with fresh remixes, sees the "blissful plucks and glitches" (In Love Not Limbo) of "Fox Tales" back in our charts.

Father John Misty - Bored In The USA

Father John Misty debuts his unexpected new ballad via a clever, orchestra-and-laughing-track-backed Letterman performance. Blogs respond warmly, confirming he can waltz the line between self-aware satire and real tragedy like few others.
FEATURED ALBUM

This week's album premiere is Hot Afternoon by The Memories.
