Maria Usbeck - Bosque De Bambú

Maria Usbeck follows up her charming 2016 LP (Stack №88) with a new single on Cascine and Labrador. "A dazzling synth-pop jam," says Gorilla vs. Bear, with "an infectiously bouncy, almost whimsical playfulness to it."

DJ Koze - Illumination (feat. Róisín Murphy)

Two esteemed talents in the dance community connect for one of March's most Popular tracks so far. "Koze’s swirling house burble and Murphy’s subtle take on house-diva vocals make perfect sense together," says Stereogum.

tobi lou - TROOP (feat. Smino)

Nigeria-born, Chicago/LA-based rapper-singer Tobi Lou recruits Smino for an imaginative track and Glassface-directed music video. He tells P&P it celebrates "being by yourself, but you can enjoy it and think of it as being with your crew."

Hinds - The Club

The carefree Spanish quartet (and longtime Stack favorites) ready their next LP with Mom + Pop, out in early April. Their trademark sound—warm, ramshackle guitar pop with harmonized vocal lines and tradeoffs—is well intact.

Peggy Gou - Han Jan

Released last week on Ninja Tune, the new EP from Peggy Gou (Stack №172) cements the Berlin-based Korean producer as one of 2018's brightest; she'll soon make her debut at Coachella. This cut is her "little tribute to 90’s electro music."
ALBUM PREMIERE

Quiet Friend - Breathplay

Posted by 2 sites • On Bandcamp • Also on: SpotifyApple Music
The self-titled debut LP from New York synth-pop group Quiet Friend.
GOOD MIX

Peggy Gou splices selections of house, disco and acid for Resident Advisor, who says "it's the sound of a DJ who has well and truly arrived."

GOOD READ

Buzzfeed outlines the "sexy sadness" of Sufjan Stevens:

"Sufjan is like the last pure response to toxic masculinity: While other men are trying to out-macho each other, Sufjan is sitting in a meadow and strumming a banjo while offering up his feelings in clear, defined lyrics."

Thanks for listening!
