Yuno - No Going Back

Posted by 9 sites • On Bandcamp • Also on: SpotifyApple Music
Following years of self-releasing and early support from sites like Portals, Jacksonville's Yuno signs with Sub Pop. His first single is "as lyrically vibrant and debonair as its champagne fizz-like percussion and rosey synth riff," says Pitchfork.

Alexia Avina - song 36

Posted by 6 sites • On Bandcamp • Also on: SpotifyApple Music
A tender new collection from Montreal’s Alexia Avina caught many ears this week. Gorilla vs. Bear calls the album "an ethereal experimental-folk-pop meditation, with an inviting soft-focus glow that soothes and enchants." It's out on Never Content.

Mereba - Black Truck

The latest track from LA-via-Atlanta artist Marian Mereba is a hypnotic blend of R&B, folk, and hip-hop. Her voice "will wrap around you like a blanket," says The Fader, "and the 9th Wonder-produced beat will dance underneath your feet."

Our Girl - Our Girl

Here's the first song London trio Our Girl ever wrote, which, as its title indicates, serves as a shimmering mission statement for the band. "A pop-inflected grunge melter with hooks galore," says Clash. It's one of the week's most-posted.

chrome sparks - Still Think

Last heard here back on Stack №4, Brooklyn-based producer Jeremy Malvin, aka Chrome Sparks, returns with a sparkling new single ahead of his self-titled debut, out in April on Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records.

Jackson MacIntosh - Can It Be Love

Posted by 2 sites • On Bandcamp • Also on: SpotifyApple Music
My Dark Sidet, the solo debut from Montreal psych-pop songwriter Jackson MacIntosh.
Prolific LA producer Morris (Stack №48) is known for his Pop.Morris mixtape series reconfiguring radio pop. His latest volume is a hyperactive and humorous melting pot where No Doubt, into deep dub, into "Shape of You" makes complete sense.

Thrillist goes inside the booming business of turning hit songs into baby lullabies:

"The records are dopey but also genius in appealing to the increasing number of adults trying to maintain some semblance of cultural familiarity during the turbulent early years with small children."

Thanks for listening!
