Since his debut as Khotin in 2014, Vancouver-based electronic artist Dylan Khotin-Foote has straddled the worlds of ambient and dance music. Following albums with 1080p and Pacific Rhythm, he self-released Beautiful You in 2018. Presenting impressionistic, dream-like songs that dwell in a playful melancholy, the collection has now been pressed to vinyl for wider release by Ghostly International. "The melodies are catchy, the atmospheres are transportive—and all it takes is a few strokes of a keyboard and some samples,” says Resident Advisor.
