At the start of 2017, Abbotsford, British Columbia-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Jamison Isaak (aka Teen Daze) shared his fifth full-length, Themes For Dying Earth, as the maiden release on his new label, FLORA. The somber and collaborative collection of ambient pop songs was in response to anxiety, both personal and concerning climate change. Its counterpart, Themes For A New Earth brings forth new instrumental material from those sessions, revealing a more optimistic and meditative flipside. Songs drift and swell with "low-simmer percussion, careening guitars and bonfire-crackle synths," says The Line of Best Fit.
