In their introduction to Infinity Shred's latest music video—a wildly imaginative CGI occult animation—The Creator's Project likened it to games such as Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Halo, "but with a cosmic and expansive digital sound akin to Daft Punk’s score for Tron." This doubles as a good entry point to Long Distance, the NYC trio's third full-length album. Composed over the span of three years (while simultaneously building a live reputation around Brooklyn and beyond), this dystopian, synth-driven opus rides the sonic forces of post-rock, dark metal and progressive trance into some truly uncharted territory.
