From his home in Inglewood, Los Angeles, musician and NTS Radio regular Harriet Brown composes, produces, and records every aspect of his cyber soul-funk project. Mall of Fortune, his second full-length, finds Brown meditating on day-to-day energies and surroundings—strip malls, traffic, social media sinkholes—with smooth electronic R&B grooves. The singular sound, per Stereogum, suggests "what Marvin Gaye might have recorded if he’d lived into the era of trunk-throttling drum programming." Guests include Ana Roxanne and Ava Luna's Felicia Douglass. The record sees release on Innovative Leisure.
