Multimedia project Dreams collects over five years of creative exchanges between musicians and New York-based website Stadiums & Shrines. Each composition—original work spanning the contemporary electronic, folk, and ambient landscape—interprets a collage by Nathaniel Whitcomb created with imagery cut from a 1950s tourism book. Completing the shared reveries are writings by Matthew Sage and S&S founder Dave Sutton (who is also part of the Hype Machine team). Places imagined collaboratively now flash inside a double LP compilation and 20-page gatefold book out on Cascine. "A beautiful and significant achievement," says Gold Flake Paint, "inspired and enriched by the art of slowing down, of searching for significance in the busiest of worlds."
