Electro-punk pioneers ADULT. have released six albums and dozens of EPs, singles, and visual artworks since their formation in 1997, but they've long kept the door open for Detroit House Guests. The project dates back to the early 2000s, when the duo began hosting three-week residencies at their studio and home, inviting artists to "live, work and collaborate together." Manifesting now on double vinyl—their first with the legendary Mute Records—this dark, menacing sound experiment features Douglas J McCarthy from Nitzer Ebb, Michael Gira from Swans, Shannon Funchess from Light Asylum, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe aka Lichens, Austrian thereminist Dorit Chrysler, and multidisciplinary artist Lun*na Menoh.
