Toronto singer-songwriter Georgia Harmer makes her debut on Arts & Crafts with a "bright and summery track featuring breezy vocals and muted electric guitar," writes Flood Magazine. Chicago rapper Ric Wilson (Stack №186) and London's George Van Den Broek just released Disco Ric in London Town, an EP "full of funky production and golden-age bars," says The Fader. "Yellow Days' flexible production is a perfect match for Wilson's versatile, spritely vocals."

BEA1991 - Tranquility Edit)

The latest from BEA1991 (Stack №212) sets her "harrowed yet determined voice alongside a synth palette shrouded in melancholic mystery," hears Highclouds. The Sega Bodega-produced single follows the Dutch artist's 2019 full-length debut and collaborations with Blood Orange.

Following one-offs with Intergraded, R&S, and Leon Vynehall's DJ Kicks mix, London-based Canadian producer and NTS host Serena Passion, aka Peach (Stack №232), joins Peach Discs, run by Shanti Celeste (Stack №131) and Gramrcy. The imprint describes her 4-tracker as "space-disco approved...bass-forward, technicolour tech-house."

Daniel Casimir - Safe (Part 1)

London composer and bassist Daniel Casimir fuses intricate electronics with orchestral instrumentation on his debut LP, Boxed In, featuring contributions from jazz contemporaries Nubya Garcia (Stack №290), Moses Boyd, and many others.
Peach ushers in the release of her new EP with a mix for Croatian festival Dimensions. They introduce it: "Her inimitable blend of electronic music is loved across dance-floors globally; equal measures quirky and futuristic and always focussed on fun (as this mix perfectly encapsulates)."

For MEL Magazine, Zaron Burnett III talks with Steve Albini about his complicated legacy:

"It’s been a process of enlightenment for me to realize and accept that my very status as a white guy in America is the product of institutional prejudices, that I’ve enjoyed the benefits of them, passively and actively."

Thanks for listening!
