Sydney-based beatmaker MXXWLL recorded this cut from his highly collaborative new album in a single night. The story goes that he and John Givez chopped it up while eating burgers, Carrtoons brought the "fire" bassline, then Rae Khalil "jumped on the hook that day, and that was that."

Most of the 24 songs on 2nd Grade's new Double Double Whammy-released LP, Hit To Hit, hover around the two-minute mark, which allows for quick genre shifts. "Fuzzy surf-rock jams, twangy tender-hearted acoustic strummers, messy punk scrawls," sums up Stereogum, naming it their album of the week.

London songwriter Kamal is only 17 years-old, "yet his spartan bedroom pop compositions carry stunning emotional weight," says Clash Magazine. He's released a handful of tracks with Neighbourhood Recordings since last year.
GOOD MIX
In 2019, Jayda G delivered this jam-packed dance mix to usher in her cover story with Mixmag.

Thanks for listening!
