Outside his psych-pop songwritings as Still Parade, Berlin-based musician and producer Niklas Kramer explores ambient terrain under his own name. Using modular synth, soft percussion, and subtle tape effects—and inspired by the textures of European Experimental Music in the late '70s—Kramer designed his debut EP to drift listeners to dream states. More specifically, the collection is meant to evoke "the emotional feeling of how short-lived experiences can alter your whole perspective," he says. Compositions move through polyrhythmic, pastel-colored patterns and warm, Eno-like soundscapes, stretched seemingly beyond their run-time. It's out on his imprint Feel Flows.
