M. Sage
Catch a Blessing
Out April 5th, 2019 Buy

Outside of his duties as a professor and head of a private press record label, Matthew Sage composes experimental ambient music from his home in Chicago. With Catch a Blessing, he steps beyond the imagined universes of his previous work to offer up airy and playful portraits of the Windy City. Tiny Mix Tapes calls the collection "a dose for the winter blues, full of found sounds both natural and organic, guitars, piano, and all the sonic accoutrements we’ve come to know and love from M. Sage." It's out on Geographic North, whose color-coded catalog includes releases from Arp, Félicia Atkinson, and Lotus Plaza.
