As Deli Girls, the duo of Danny Orlowski and Tommi Kelly make chaotic music mixing together elements of punk, hardcore, no wave, and techno. With I Don't Know How to Be Happy, "one of the most exciting bands in New York right now," per Noisey, capture the ferocity of their renowned live show while experimenting with overdubs and processing in the studio. Above Kelly's blasting drum machine and synthesizer, Orlowski "half-screams, half-raps, half-yelps lyrics about trauma, violence, revenge, and the police state." It's their second release on Sweat Equity.
