Playing together in a rock band during the late 90's, the two guys from Stuttgart soon discovered their common interest in electronic music.

After producing beats for several projects and DJing in various locations, they decided to go back on stage with their own electronic live performance. Just one year later DYEBOX is releasing its debut EP in November 2009 on the French label BOXON Records. The EP "Catch The Looks" consists of three original tracks and one remix by DilemN (already signed on Boxon, Boys Noize & Turbo). It combines pumping basslines, powerful distortions, warm chords and rock-influenced vocals. A combination to DYE for !

Le 26 octobre 2009, la collection des sorties Boxon Records s’agrandit avec l’EP « Catch The Looks » produit par le duo allemand DyeBox, découvert par le label bordelais il y a presque un an déjà !

Matthias Zuleger et Moritz Dausinger, fondateurs de DyeBox, se sont rencontrés dans les années 90. À l’époque, ils jouent tous les deux dans le même groupe de rock. Ce n’est que bien longtemps après qu’ils décideront de former un duo, encouragés par leur intérêt commun pour la musique électronique.

Originaires de Stuttgart, ils mixent depuis août 2008 dans les clubs allemands et préparent en parallèle un live électro puissant et mélodique. Découvert par Julien Minet via Myspace, DyeBox devient vite le coup de coeur de Boxon. Après de nombreux échanges de mails, faire un EP ensemble devient vite une évidence.

« Catch The Looks » est donc la concrétisation d’une année de travail sur ce projet commun. Le résultat ? 4 titres électro, originaux et clubs à souhait, dont un remix de Dilemn déjà tubesque !
