Song Carpathian Forest from album The Happy Records Incident (2013). This is cover version of The Fiery Furnaces song Duplexes Of The Dead. We dedicated this song in shining memory of our friend and bass-guitarist Ihor Pelyh (uk.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9F%D0%B…0%B2%D0%B8%D1%87).

The steely world of noisy machines
On the crossroads pass days
I so wants to hide:
Save us Carpathian Forest
Somewhere far away from human eyes ...
As in poetry of Plujnyk * -
Cellar of "Mon amie" ghosted to me
I stayed me, and at the same time,
I was the cup from which I drank
And Carpathian Forest lived in me - Dream ...

For return to the past
I awake - nothing else anymore ...

Сталевий світ гучних машин,
На перехрестях минають дні
Так і хочеться сховатись
Збережи нас ліс Карпатський
Десь подалі від людський Очей…
Як в вірші Плужника *, мені
Пивниця снилась «Моn аmіе» -
Я був собою й, разом з тим,
Я кухлем був, з якого пив,
І ліс Карпатський жив в мені - Сон…
Сталевий світ гучних машин,
На перехрестях минають дні
Так і хочеться пірнути,
Щоб в минуле повернутись
Я проснусь – нічого Вже нема…
