I started this record a year ago when I was going through a pretty tough time, the goal was to try to make a song that would get me out of that place and maybe pull someone else out of that place if they listened to it too. It sat on my hard drive for a few months until I finally finished it on a train from London to Scotland, and it's taken me almost a year since then to do anything with it.
If you're going through some shit, put on a record that puts a smile on your face, I've always found that when there seems to be nothing else worth it out there, a good song can fill that void, even if just for a couple minutes.
