Auckland based producer DiCE_NZ offer us a first taste of the new (upcoming) Glamour Hammer single 'Faith in Love' with his exquisite, powerful and funky remix, so good that it could only have come out of a truly skilled and professional DJ who lives for the dancing crowd. DiCE aka Dave Ti has worked with New Zealand legends such as Fat Freddy's Drop & The Black Seeds, has a string of Jazz, Disco & Funk edits to the name, regularly receiving airplay on BBC's Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show, MiSoul radio and hos of NZ stations and shows such as GeorgeFM & NZTV's The Project. A DJ since the days of vinyl in '90s UK, Dave relocated to NZ in 2005 and has since been a regular in the newer hometown of Auckland and can be caught spinning Funk, Soul, Disco & House.
Dave (DiCE_NZ) comment:
- I was thrilled to get the opportunity to work with such great material, especially as I already have Glamour Hammer tracks in my crates that get regular airplay. Adam was perfect to work with, and I felt really lucky that he let me play with ‘Faith In Love’, as it wasn’t even finished, and I could hear it was personal to him.
Through this remix you will be given a slight taste of the upcoming slow paced soul ballad that is Faith in Love. Glamour Hammer explain how it's a very personal track: - "This release is very personal to me. I wrote this song for my to-be wife Sofia, whom I'm looking forward to marrying this year. It's a huge honor to get this awesome remix as well. It's kind of an early wedding gift for which I'm very grateful. Will be dancing to this at the wedding party!"

Glamour Hammer is the nom de plum of Swedish-based producer, songwriter and vocalist Adam Jonsson. In the comfort of his home studio, Glamour Hammer swings back and forth between creating dance-oriented disco house and jazz-infused dream pop with a sense of escapism and tongue-in-cheek attitude while always aspiring for a sense of timelessness and analogue feel. Drawing inspiration from a multitude of genres the most influential are 1970s-80s Funk, Disco, boggie, Classic rock, Latin rhythms and Afropop. Recent singles has got support from the likes of Dancing Astronaut, thissongissick.com and many more, and has really started the lounge packed nu-disco world to take notice of his arrival to the party.
After the release of his 'Tropical Suite Pt.1' in the end of 2020 Glamour Hammer followed that with collabs. and remixes from the likes of French electronic disco mastermind YUKSEK and internationally acclaimed EDM-producer Oliver Nelson, who both remixed his work. The single 'Is It True' was also part of the compilation Too Slow To Disco presents: Modern Daytime Disco released by City Slang (non-exclusive license) alongside ie. Kraak & Smaak, Poolside, Prep, Yuksek, Luxxury. This was followed by a couple of new singles leading to his Tropical Suite, Pt. 2 EP released February 11 this year.
Glamour Hammer is staying productive and promise the new single Faith In Love to be released later this spring and that it will be part of yet another new EP on the Icons Creating Evil Art label.
