China (@china-mcdonald) is a 20-year-old Melbourne-native, who at 19 moved to LA to follow her dreams of becoming a musician - she creates music reminiscent of icons Erykah Badu, Jhené Aiko & the late Amy Winehouse and is well beyond her years.
'Calm Down' is the spiritual follow up to her single 'Trust' and is a warning sign to guys who lack respect, "I went to the studio pissed off because I had just had a conversation with a guy who wanted to take me on a date but felt the need to disrespect other women to raise me up and flatter me, which I hate."
'Calm Down' is China's first release with Daily Nightly and is the initial taste of a larger body of work due out at the tail end of 2020 - watch this space!
