Crutch

This is our first EP. It balances traditional pop song structure and melodies with something a little bit more creative. Catchy falsetto and tenor vocals, instrumentation, and drum beats are coupled with dissonant ambient noises, unique time signatures, and unique scales to create good indie rock music with a unique flair. It takes cues from Grizzly Bear, Alt J, Radiohead, Mogwai, Aphex Twin, among many others of the sort, creating cacophonous yet wondrous soundscapes. Lyrically, the album touches on relationships, regrets, depression, anxiety, drug use, sex, and self-reflection. The goal is to connect with people on all the messy feelings in life, inspire wonder in a humble way, and provide a moment of pause.
