Time Cop is the third single from Love in October's new album SHAPES which will be released February 15, 2019. On this album, the band is reflecting on the state of the world, love, memories, uncertainty and the future.
Inspired by the movie Blade Runner, Time Cop is about being a fugitive in a futuristic landscape who is on the run and tracked down by the police. This is a great song when you want to lose your shit, scream, and stick it to the man! It's also perfect for running. :)
Love in October is an indie rock band from Chicago, IL that blends lo-fi fuzzy guitars, pop hooks, and a broken drum machine taking inspiration from bands like the Strokes, Pixes, Nirvana, and Modest Mouse in a 2019 setting.
The band consists of Swedish native brothers Erik (guitar, vocals) and Kent Widman (bass), who nowadays make their mark on the Chicago indie rock scene. Love in October formed in Minneapolis 2006 and has since then released six albums and toured the US, Canada, and Europe. For a full bio, please visit loveinoctober.com.
