Premiere: Last Magpie 'Silver' http://www.mixmag.net/read/last-magpie-premieres For his latest record, Last Magpie returns to Hypercolour and the 'Separation' EP once again showcases his deft and varied skill sets. While the title track is trippy and analogue-centred, we're really feeling 'Silver' and we've got the first play. The track starts off with a stomping groove and that's backed up by chunky riffs and clever little hi-hats. The whole thing transforms however once the beautifully serene piano chords are introduced, from there it's just a stairway to the clouds.
