Though the name Chungking may sound like something that you'd do after having a few too many to drink, the fact of the matter is that the Brightonian indie artist is actually piecing together some rather fine aural treats. Once her sounds are thrown into a house-fuelled blender by the Konkret Cutz duo it comes out with a feeling of sensual aural delight that you might have thought was only possible on a Friday night.
Actually, the more I think about it the less it feels like a blender has come anywhere near this aural excursion as it feels far too smooth to have come close to anything that makes a KRRRRRRGGGGRRRGGGG noise. Maybe the original song was popped in a slow cooker for a few hours to soften it up enough so that Konkret Cutz could simply pick it up with their bare hands and mould it into the tasty sounds that now lay before you.
Go on, tuck in.
