Vincenzo’s latest creation titled “Touchdown” is fresh out the works and set to make some serious contact with the electronic music landscape. Berlin’s very own old school veteran throws it down with support by fellow artists Ante Perry and DJ Steef.
The introductory track of the same name hits the ground running, giving this short player an energetic vibe from the jump. Nicely placed vocal chops team up with electrifying percussions, creating a sound your feet can’t help but move to.
Ante Perry darkens things up on his interpretation of the “Touchdown” joint, tossing in a slappin’ snare and synthies that are dipped in funk – get your nod on.
Shit gets downright exotic on DJ Steef’s side of the story. Wooden drums and organic elements add some major diversity to this project.
Grandmeister Vincenzo decides to simmer down a bit for his EP’s final tune “Away You Go”. The gloomy background is accompanied by a firm kick drum, while vocal bits and bongos gradually step in for the build up. In the midst of tranquility Vincenzo flips the switch, generating an uplifting feel followed by a smooth landing.
