Thumb piano made from a metal clamshell box with hairpin tines attached to a flat metal dish resonator.
The dish acts like a feedback antenna.
I am using a piezo pickup mounted on a magnet that can be placed and moved anywhere on the metal dish to find the sweet spots.

This is the best thing I have heard in 2017, thank you.
Amazing!
I want to hear the cymbalizer.
This is ominous and fantastic.
super cool feedback track.
Next version with drums?
One of my favorite things I've heard in months. I wrote up something about it here: disquiet.com/2013/06/07/rp-collier-feedback-raga/
Very interesting sounds. Lots of possibilities. Can this be done live?
@jrossmusic: I think so. The track was done using a Vox Mini portable amp in a room with a rug. It would take much testing of amp size, space reflection, tuning and compressor modes to understand and adapt the variables successfully for different venues though.
this is a fierce instrument!:)
