The Cork, Ireland based DJ and producer Colm K is a 2004 graduate of the Red Bull Music Academy, and has been making waves for a few years now with releases including his Bastard Jazz debut 12" 'Basics', heralded 7” and 10” records on sublabel BSTRD Boots (the latter of which is sold-out and regularly changes hands for upwards of $50 on eBay), and his recent shared-billing with Mr. Scruff on a Hypnotic Brass Ensemble remix 12” (on Choice Cuts).
On 'The Love' EP, Colm’s musical vision has truly matured with a fully realized 12” that draws on such disparate influences as Herbie Hancock, 80’s boogie, J-Dilla, vintage House music, Floating Points and Q-Tip productions. Art for the EP comes from graphic artist Donal Thorton, notable for Onra’s 'Long Distance' cover, and many of the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble covers.

@manny-black: Most likely yes unless there was another 'Walshy' that also played at Cork Jazz Fest 2013 which is possible! There are a lot of people in the city at that time of year! I know I was there for sure anyway.
