iMoombah EP by DJR

With moombahton gaining momentum, I decided to make a small EP with three different styles.
As you see in the picture, I dont have a fancy studio let alone basic keyboards... just been working out of my mac with mouse, keyboard and headphone. And yes I am trying to get all the things i need but for now I'm working with what I got. I'm currently just trying to make different styles of tracks to learn more, get some support and book some gigs. I have tracks played by Artistic Raw, Laidback Luke and support from maddecent.com.

In the first track, I took it back to my hometown (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and made a big carnaval beat. This is the type of sound you'd expect out of samba carnaval parties in Rio, but of course, with club banging bass that won't allow you to stand still.

The second track, Booty, was inspired by my interest in hip hop and just an element of surprise and insanity. With old school type melodies and an aggressive drop, this track is sure to turn heads in the club.

The last track, Move it, was a one day project i did. I wanted to see what i could come up with in a short period of time and honestly its probably my favorite out of the EP. Its a different style with an aerie dreamy synth with a "WTF" is he saying jamaican loop. I used a cruise ship fog horn that really set that weird vibe for me.

Hope you enjoy my work, I want to finish an album within the next two months but full time school and job are working against me. Please help me by spreading the love.. this EP is free and i'd love to hear who's playing my tracks.
