A Collection (Remastered)

A Collection contains the majority of Third Eye Blind’s effortlessly effervescent hits that pervaded modern rock in the late ’90s and early ’00s. “Semi-Charmed Life” is an undeniable earworm folding fuzzy, grunge guitars into slacker rap-rock, while “Never Let You Go” is New Wave-kissed power pop with one of the era’s catchiest uses of chunka-chunk guitar riffage. The set also contains a smattering of deep cuts, like the disarmingly fragile ballad “My Time in Exile,” which shows off the emotional depth of the band’s gifted songwriter, Stephan Jenkins.
