It might be a little corny to say that Elliott Smith is an artist I value so much personally when it comes to getting me through tough times. I haven't listened to this album in full in a long time because I feel like I'm past the point where I needed it. However, I think even then this is one of the most important albums of all time. For me personally, it means a lot. But it's also monumental in relation to music as a whole. Em
Floor-to-ceiling Boris ragers! It’s like they looked back on songs like Statement and Woman On the Screen and said “let’s do a whole album like that!” Most of these tracks don’t even pass 3 minutes! Zerkalo holds up the middle with some anguished doom.

At this point, Fief II is a classic of the genre and the DS revival scene. It honestly doesn't get better than this, just other than. The orchestration is beautiful, the instrumentation is playful and appropriate, and the entire album captures a moment in time long forgotten or along another dimension. II by Fief is wonderful and deserves the praise heaped upon it. Sacred Ash
