Originally released in 1984 as a non-album single, 'Wild Thing' went on to share the screen, most famously as Charlie Sheen’s character, Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn, walked onto the mound, in the movie Major League. It’s continued to be used as walkout songs for professional wrestlers Atushi Onita and Jon Moxley, as well as Los Angeles Dodgers stars, Shohei Ohtani and Joe Kelly.

Love the collaboration between Nick Lowe and Los Straitjackets. I caught one of their shows in 2023 and they were great together. This album showcases that strong collaboration. And Nick Lowe has been one of my absolute favs since I first became a fan in the 70s. Had a chance to meet him several years ago at a solo show he did in a small venue in NJ. He was so gracious, we chatted for few minutes and we took a photo together. Helluva great guy!
