Death Drive, the London-based Darkwave/Post-Punk duo formed of Carine Fierobe and Danny Sanchez is back with sophomore track ‘Adrift Haze’, a tale of childish naivety crushed by unattainable love.
Co-produced by Jack Milwaukee, ‘Adrift Haze’ was built from extensive live jamming around a heavily processed vocal sample and was pulled apart and put back together again in a process that represented the lyrics - dismantling yourself and gluing together the broken parts scattered over the floor.
‘Adrift Haze’ retains the touch of evil and heavy beats of previous track ‘Love Me’, but is even darker in content. This is a song you can dance and lose yourself to.
Out on 20th March 2025 via Gasolina Recordings.
