BLUEBURST ANNOUNCES ‘KICK MY TIRES’ EP – FOUR DISTINCT TAKES ON A FAN FAVORITE

Featuring a new hard-hitting remix, the original version, an instrumental, and a stripped-down “Nebraska” acoustic rendition

Following the growing success of their debut album Significance, Blueburst is keeping the momentum rolling with the release of the Kick My Tires EP on March 14, 2025. This dynamic collection revisits one of the standout tracks from Significance, presenting four distinct versions that each bring a unique perspective to the song’s raw energy and introspective themes.

“These new versions each bring a unique dimension to the song, which was already one of my favorites on the Significance album,” says Craig Douglas Miller, Blueburst’s frontman and creative force.

The Kick My Tires EP includes:
• “Kick Mix” – Remixed by Ben Etter
A bold, aggressive new mix that amplifies the intensity of the song, placing greater emphasis on Michael Jerome’s powerhouse drumming and bringing out extra parts that were left out of the original mix.
• Original Album Version
The mix fans already know and love from Significance, maintaining the album’s cohesive sonic landscape.
• Instrumental Version
A chance to experience the full weight of Blueburst’s layered guitars and rhythmic depth without vocals.
• “Nebraska” Version
A haunting, lo-fi acoustic take recorded on a vintage Tascam Portastudio 414 cassette 4-track, with only an Echoplex delay as an effect.... Inspired by Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska album, this version strips the song down to its most intimate, emotionally raw core.

Since the release of Significance, Blueburst’s audience has grown exponentially, earning praise for their authentic blend of post-punk, alternative rock, and timeless songwriting. The Kick My Tires EP highlights the band’s sonic versatility, offering fans both a harder-hitting remix and a stripped-down reimagining, alongside the original mix.
