Apologist of dark disco, researcher of ethnic motifs, ambassador of syncopation, DJ with experience in dozens of local bars and clubs of his native St. Petersburg, as well as at private parties in Istanbul, Giorgio Isaev in his sets and tracks mixes dark atmosphere with dance groove, remaining a fan of classic and italo disco at his heart.
Together with his friends and collaborators Bruce The Bat Person and Vector Malevolent, Giorgio founded Disco Pastors, which has grown from chamber parties to a digital label of electronic dance music, with its first release “Discompilation Volume 1” available on all major platforms.
Drawing his inspiration from 80s and 90s, new wave, gothic, baroque and noir, Giorgio always tries to convey the widest possible range of emotions that music can evoke. And it always makes you move to the beat.
With releases on Nothing Is Real and Epicure behind him, as well as participation in the major electronic music festival Solar Systo in 2022, Giorgio and Disco Pastors are reaching out to an even wider audience, bringing the light of neon and the sounds of synths to the masses.
