A beautiful cacophony of some of the most tuneful and atmospheric sonic landscapes that I've heard this year. Dream Unending is pushing the artistic boundaries of what is possible in death/black metal. A brilliant listen.

There's plenty of metal that mines a narrow seam sonically e.g. Portal are a favourite band, but if I listened to them daily, I'd probably go mad - though possibly that's their intention 😆. Dream Unending in comparison, have so much breadth, variation, and emotion even that I look forward to bathing in their depths on a regular basis.
