I, I, I, I, I see a withered tree branched out mocking me
Arthritic limbs pronounced into the air
Below the mantle, cracked, lined and broken
A sallow face misshapen above repair
Shimmer, black shimmer...
I, I, I, I, I see a token world inside of me
It shattered hard as it hit the ground
I know! I, I see!
I, I, I, I, I feel a simple peace wrought from a failed belief
Synaptic pathways born a tense decor
Behind the curtain unsure uncertain
A fallow grin through the lens despair
Shimmer, black shimmer...
I, I, I, I, I see a token world inside of me
It shattered hard as it hit the ground
I know! I feel!
I, I, I feel open to truth, if in a dream, an empty space
Open to truth, if in a dream, for just one day!

I love this one! The message means a lot to me since I lost my uncle a few years back and it embodies exactly how I felt and still feel at times. Not to mention the bass in the beginning gives me the good kind of chills, hell yeah! gothictonic
It's so hard to pick just one favourite track. The whole album is just so magical, so special!
It's like a warm shroud of enveloping, nourishing darkness. Sacred Scythe
