An album that I heard all too late, but one that has massively shaped my recent music taste, and with the bands split, it has opened me up to two amazing bands in the last year. Big fan of all of Patriakh's work, and Batushka aswell, but this is still the best album of the bunch, where it all started!

Oublier le monde qui se trouve autour de vous, projeter son esprit autre part. Wolves in the Throne Room a toujours eu une façon singulière de nous faire voir les choses sous un autre angle bien plus grand. Thrice Woven part en des temps immémoriaux dans laquelle la Nature est exaltée ("The Old Ones are With Us"), les mythes — nordiques ? — célébrés (qui d'autre que Anna von Hausswolff et sa voix magnifique pour faire ça ?) avec un black metal rapide qui s'inspire de la vague finlandaise.
