Gaye Su Akyol, the lauded, groundbreaking voice of Turkey’s alternative music scene, is set to release a track from her upcoming science fiction musical theater premiere: “Consistent Fantasy Is Reality.” Produced in conjunction with the Komische Oper Berlin, the production debuts in Berlin on February 6th and continues in Vienna at the Neue Staatsoper on March 21st . Written and composed by, and starring Gaye Su Akyol herself, this ambitious production merges music, storytelling, and speculative fiction into a captivating narrative. Gaye’s new single, Hepsi Kafamda Memur Bey (It’s All in My Head, Officer), which is featured her musical theater production “Consistent Fantasy Is Reality,” will be available on all digital platforms on February 6, 2025.

Hepsi Kafamda Memur Bey is an apocalyptic symphony; a call from Gaye Su Akyol’s universe, where imagination and reality blur into one. The lyrics, with their striking and ironic depth, reflect the inner struggles of modern life and the quest for survival in a chaotic city:
