A new Esotreric industrial project (in 80s esoteric industrial style) with member of (ex) Ain Soph, Macelleria Mobile d Mezzanotte and Teatro Satanico
“La Porta Ermetica” (The Hermetic Door) is a monument built between 1678 and 1680, located in Rome (Italy).
The door has copious symbols and inscriptions used in alchemy and in esotericism.
LA PORTA ERMETICA is also the denomination that three Italian musicians chose for naming their sodality focused in producing music works in the line of continuity with the esoteric Italian industrial wave of the late ’80,
and for doing such music they combine acoustic instruments, analogue synths and lyrics that clearly refer to Occultism.
LA PORTA ERMETICA recall the evocative sounds of those Italian esoteric industrial projects like Ain Soph, Capricorni Pneumatici, Rosemary’s Baby, Lashtal, Thelema, first Sigillum S, Gerstein and many other ones.
From music production perspective LA PORTA ERMETICA employs both neo-psychedelic suggestions and contemporary electronic forms, while keeping a more positive mature carefulness and awareness in dealing with Occultism.
LA PORTA ERMETICA are Adriano Vincenti ( Macelleria Mobile di Mezzanotte), Claudio Giammarini (ex Ain Soph) and Devis Granziera (Teatro Satanico).
Special guests in their SI SEDES NON IS debut album are CAPRICORNI PNEUMATICI, the soprano Tecla Nives and alto-sax players Pierluigi Ferro (Macelleria Mobile di Mezzanotte) and Cosey Sforza (Khem).
The album will be available this summer for the US label Phage Tapes in CD Format
