We are what passes
and persists.
All that insists on staying:
A certain evening within me,
The sun rising in the depths,
Your eyes on mine, like a magnet,
This light left from the end of the world.
All that leaves brings pain
Don’t say goodbye if you won’t go
I only want what I can carry:
The sky crumbling in the depths
Your lips on mine, like a vow,
And this light from the world’s beginning.

Both these tracks have a real feel to them that suggest rebellion and revolution. Superb bassline and great horn playing. Absolutely suited for the playlists for The Illicit Grooves Radio Show Bob Hill Illicit Grooves

I haven't heard anything as just completely perfectly formed out of the gate--every decision the right one, what to include but more what to exclude--maybe ever. Don't know who Sault is, but they do not sound like they could be anyone who hasn't paid some dues to get this good. Or signed some Satanic contracts. 100% confidence, and it sounds 110% earned.
