Google Poem emerged from a snippet of text I received through the PoemPortraits project by Google Arts & Culture, an interactive experience where users add words to a growing poem. That small text fragment reminded me of past summers and beautiful times shared with people who are now strangers—and from this memory, the lyrics for Google Poem were born.
