about

I am excited to shared with you our new single DISCONNECT TO CONNECT,  released today on my birthday.
Technology has transformed our world and how we interact with each other.  Smartphones and social media were designed to connect people but most often interactions are shallow and superficial.  Disconnect to Connect is a call for genuine connection, taking a break from technology to have genuine connection with the Divine, each other and Godʻs creation.
If you are impacted by the tune, please share it.  We appreciate your support of Azato music!
DISCONNECT TO CONNECT

Aloha Ke Akua,

Azato

lyrics

Chorus
Disconnect to connect
Nothing better than a personal contact
Where is the love, where is the love?
In our technological society
Social media a hold all a we
Slaves to our phones
Are we truly free?

Verse 1
Does Hulu have a hold on you?
Netflix and chill are you for real?
Step outside of your home today
Little bit of sun wonʻt hurt your body
So letʻs go to the mountains or a jump in the sea
Jah, Jah creation is awaiting we
Letʻs go to the country, eh, eh - eh, eh, eh, eh

Chorus
Disconnect to connect
Nothing better than a personal contact
Where is the love, where is the love?
In our technological society
Social media a hold all a we
Slaves to our phones
Are we truly free?

Verse 2
Living fe followers and numbers of likes
No wonder the youth dem canʻt ride a bike
How many selfies can we take?
Until we need fe take a little break
Letʻs go to the mountains or jump in the sea
Jah, Jah creation is awaiting fe we
Letʻs go to the country, singing, letʻs go to the country

Final Chorus
Disconnect to connect
Nothing better than a personal contact
Where is the love, where is the love?
In our technological society
Social media a hold all a we
Slaves to our phones
Are we truly free?
Disconnect to connect
