Angel Dust
On our skin
Black eyed
Hypnotized
The way you’re talking
Cigarettes and pills
You told me you’d done it all
And you’d done it all
Everything you thought was true isn’t
And everyone’s out to get ya
So eyes down on the dollar bill
You’re so in love
With the view
Heaven’s right here
Between you and me
Cut up into perfect portions
Heaven’s right here
Try it for yourself
I’ll cut you in if you got cash
Every wretched morning
Every sleepless night
Johnny’s got some new shit for us to try
Iridescent moments
The party never ends when I’m lost in the darkness
Cause everything you thought was true isn’t
And everyone’s out to get ya
So eyes down on the dollar bill
You’re so in love with the feeling
Heaven’s right here
Between you and me
Cut up into perfect portions
Heaven’s right here
Try it for yourself
I’ll cut you in if you got cash
I got nothing to show
Just diamonds that dissolve
I got nothing to show
just diamonds that dissolve
Heaven’s right here
Between you and me
Cut up into perfect portions
Heavens right here
Try it for yourself
I’ll cut you in if you got cash
Heaven’s right here
Between you and me
Cut up into perfect portions
Heavens right here
Try it for yourself
I’ll cut you in if you got cash
This reminds me of my boyhood, when I had a mad crush on Olivia Newton-John. 🎵If you love me, let me know, if you don't, then let me go🎶 "Sugar and Spice" popped up, first, on a moody dream pop Pandora station, though "Bad Guy" fits that station even better. I was surprised how much I enjoyed these charming Abba-esque/Top 40 type confections, and perhaps my Pandora station is far more interesting when it goes from I Break Horses' "Death Engine" to "Sugar and Spice." pardero
I love this album and, as a fan of Mysterious Skin (the book as well as the film), my favorite track is of course “Touched You With My Chaos” — followed closely by “I Don’t Want You Anymore”.
It’s honestly amazing to see how many people have been affected by Mysterious Skin, demonstrating just how impactful Scott Heim’s storytelling and Gregg Araki’s adaptation are. --N--
The members of Big Slice rubbed shoulders with Britpop legends like Suede & Echobelly—no surprise when you hear their radiant, hooky songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 17, 2022
