Etta & Allegra's coming of Age social vignettes take center Stage on Momma's Sophomore LP. The Strong Vocal interplay between the two leads continues to expand here. "Not A Runner" mixes in a little more uptempo melody compared to the more subdued trax on the majority of this release. "Habitat" a real banger closes out this solid release on #2. This band is on the verge of something "bigger" down the Road 4 Sure.

Joyous scary sunny vertigo; guitar, synths, male/female vocals. Listening lifts me up. I hear a pinch of shoegazing a la Medicine, Swirlies, but also other sounds - Stereolab, Octopus Project. I danced to several songs.

Momma is a brilliant band that combines 90's Alt/Indie Rock Genres in a compelling & unique blend of melodies. Etta & Allegra's vocal harmonies are "2 Die 4" especially true on "Brave" & "Spider." Honestly there is not a bad Track on this Release with "Speeding 72" being a Classic Indie Rock Single. Momma is definitely on their way to becoming a HOUSEHOLD NAME!
