Line & Circle released Split Figure in 2015. I was convinced those songs had to top the charts somewhere, but I never figured out where. Every time I hear that stunning jangle pop, it still strikes me as incredibly commercial-sounding. The greatest strength of all ten tracks is that they start off beautifully and somehow get even better as they progress. The same can be said for Go On by The Blue Herons—overwhelmingly beautiful. Don’t just take my word for it.
