No Wonder was written after the big move and overlapped the ‘pandemic’ lost weekend. It arrived in a creative spell along with Atonement, Asylum and Doubt Benefit. The rest of the tunes came after this bunch. No Wonder is a snapshot of the current human condition …where we are now…how did we get here…did we read the signs and see the symptoms of our growing malady. I suppose it speaks to the possibility of a time where societies collectively ask the question “what the hell are we doing?” and ‘put their foot down and draw the line in the sand’.
