This is a much more rocking and melodic output than the band's previous releases but not exactly a retread of the 'Memoria Vetusta' sound, though it would still be the closest comparison. The 7 tracks are all similar in their approach, with sprawling soundscapes of distorted riffs and woozy solos that show both a meditative and an abrasive side, along with raging screams and chants emerging from the din. Even if it is not as impactful for some people, it’s still a very unique experience. Lefteris Kefalas

This album is simply incredible. I've loved it for years and years, and it's what got me into darksynth. Sentient will always have a special place in my heart. I also love Disco Inferno and The Uncanny Valley. redelephant
