This is the release that got me into Harsh Symmetry. I have been listening to his back catalog a bit since grabbing this, and it doesn't quite have the magic that coalesces on this one. I think what this has, that prior releases lack, is a sense of... fun! It's still dirge-like of course, but the energy level is higher, the hooks are hookier, and there's just somehow much more pleasure to be found amid the melancholy.
