A recording that touches something ancient in us and brings a shift to places not yet discovered. It's hard to describe in any sensible way something that definitely mixes the spirit of Palestrina with the legacy of minimalism, reductionism and improvisation, although that's not really important here. A deeply emotional thing that doesn't talk about humanity, but speaks directly to it. jiristepan
real and outstanding tone. soul soothing and grounding. full of humility. surprisingly diverse.
a real enrichment - you can easily tell, by the sound of this, that kali got some fundamental truths.
reminds me a bit about arvo pärts johannes passion at elatus label by candomino choir which is by far my most favourite classical album. this might be on the same level, I dont know for yet. k9
This music Marta created, holds stillness and space just as much as it holds notes and chords, and it is in those spaces between notes that captured my attention so much. This music requires some patience and is for everyone, but I find it gorgeous. Especially when everything finally comes together on the last track, "music" with a choirs wordless vocals taking the chord changes and melody all the way to the climactic ending. Joe Borreson
